Mill-Max Mill-Max is the leading US manufacturer of machined interconnect components. The Mill-Max product line includes spring-loaded connectors, SIP, DIP, PGA and BGA sockets, PLCC sockets, pin headers, and board-to-board interconnects, available in both surface mount and through hole. Additionally, Mill-Max has PCB pins, receptacles, solder terminals, wrapost receptacles, and swage mount pins.
Spring Loaded Connectors
Precision-machined gold-plated components and a low-resistance spring maintain a consistent electrical path for maximum continuity. Tested to a minimum of 50G shock and 10G vibration with no spikes >1μs and >1.15V with 0.5A applied. Maximum endurance is one million electrically silent cycles. The strip assemblies have .100” mounting grid, with low- and high-profile surface mount styles available from .137” to .430” on carrier tape or thru-hole style for manual placement. A choice of 31 discrete spring-loaded contacts is available for customer-specific assemblies; other sizes are available for specific individual applications.
